With Silvertop Ash timber cladding and large front deck, this is
a striking 4 bedroom townhouse, with 2.5 bathrooms, a study
downstairs and a study nook upstairs. The main living area,
kitchen and dining space are upstairs to take advantage of the
spectacular views over the grasslands. We have incorporated a ‘pop up’ roof with automated windows to allow in more light and space. The upstairs is awash with light and lovely vistas, and also has the parents retreat – large main bedroom, ensuite and walk in robe. Downstairs houses three further bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and second living area, leading onto a landscape architect designed courtyard. The stairwell has a stunning bubble pendant light and the stairs are in beautiful spotted gum, as are the timber floors upstairs. |

Our dear friends Chrissie and John lost their house in the
recent bushfires. Fortunately a large shed with concrete floor was left standing and Rob has recently completed accommodation within the shed for them to live in whilst their house is rebuilt. We built a 19 Square one bedroom home within the shed. As the project progressed it grew and has evolved into a modern, well insulated home that will be comfortable for as long as they need it and great for family and friends thereafter. An extensive pergola was added to the front of the shed with a large area of paving to take full advantage of the beautiful views. We would like to extend our thanks to many of our regular trades for making the trip to Redesdale to help complete the project in such a short period of time, and to make the finished product such a joy for our friends and a source of pride for all of us. We would particularly like to thank Colin Docking Electrics, Brendon Harris Plumbing and Andrew Sutherland Plastering of Melbourne, and the wonderful work from the local tiler Rod Morris and window supplier of Kyneton Compass Windows. |
